Our foundation year, 1916, and our previous significant anniversary years, in 1941, 1966 and  1991, were all key milestones in the history of the Rotary Club of Leeds. Those attending the inaugural dinner in May 1916 had only a little experience on which to reflect - the first meeting having only occurred the previous February. However, since then, each anniversary has given us a chance not only to celebrate but to look back on past achievements, to remember old friends and to look forward to new projects and new people.
